*** official ap statistics 2013 thread ***

@Dorhawk If I recall correctly, he should have done a 2 prop test since he was had two proportions from the same sample though he wished to compare the two.

I’m VERY pleased with this test. To me, it seemed as if I prepared for the very test they administered. I was always certain I’d make a 4-5 on this test, but after taking it, I’m fairly confident I’ll make a 5.

The MC was VERY easy for me. I’ve averaged a 28-30/40 on practice exams, but I feel I may have gotten a 30-33 on this one. Doesn’t make a huge difference, but I feel it was easier!

The FRQs I got were great. I think I got a 4, 3-4, 2-3, 4, 2-3, & 3-4 on 1-6, respectively.

Using these scores, I’m safely at a 5! We’ll see in July!

Just took the test yesterday cause I got a concussion day of the test haha. Did any of u guys take the form a ? It had like a question on prices of pecan nuts and drawing a line on a graph.

Not a normal distribution… Hoping for a 5!
Statistics 12.6% 20.2% 25% 18.8% 23.4%

Wow I honestly thought I did get a 5. Got a 4 instead.

5 for me. Awesome.

Curve must have been nasty for this. Thought I had a 5 in the bag easily and got a 4. Still get the same amount of credit at my school so it doesn’t matter.

I think I’m the first person on this thread to get a 3.
I self-studied it, though.

I got a 5! I won’t get credit for it but my teacher told me she’d hunt me down and haunt me for the rest of my life if I didn’t get a 5 haha. I guess I won’t have to worry about that anymore…

Got a 4. Sorta disappointed, because I expected a 5. I must’ve screwed up really badly on the FRQs.

I thought I got an easy five. I know I got at least 30mc and two FRQs perfect. (Did well on number 6) Yet somehow, I got a four.

I got a 4, but expected a 5, oh well.

I was 100% sure I got a 5 on the AP Stats exam and I got a 4… I knew statistics in and out, through and through, and my teacher told me to not worry since I’ll get a 5 no problem. I felt really comfortable with the test and was like yea~ I’ll get a 5 no prob. Should I rescore or just take the test again next year? I’ll be able to study with my sister who will be taking it next year as well.

I know! I really feel like CB F’ked up this year, especially bio… They won’t rescore FRQ’s either. Pretty ****ed because now I have to take 3 additional APs next year in addition to my 3 AP classes.

Like most of you guys, I was wholeheartedly expecting a 5 but I ended up getting a 4. I know a 4’s by no means a bad score, but it’s extremely disappointing because I was expecting to earn my first 5 on this one.

This is really odd. I got a 5 on this test, even though I didn’t feel like I broke my back studying and reviewing for it. I did do a good bit of studying, and I took maybe 2 or 3 practice exams and looked over everything to be covered and reviewed my notes. The last few days, though, I just gave up on trying to study and just hoped the exam would be easy. However, a few of my friends who do just as well in class (unquestionably top of the calss) and understand the material as thoroughly as me got 3s and one got a 2. I’m thinking CB screwed up scoring this because there’s no way that I got a 5 while others who are just as capable got 4s, 3s, and even 2s. Not that I’m complaining about my score, don’t get me wrong. I’m extremely, EXTREMELY grateful that I got a 5.

I got a 2 on AP Statistics when I walked out expecting at least a 4. I had an alternative version for the FRQs to mostly everyone else. My FRQ version isn’t even on the CB website. I really feel like my FRQ subscore wasn’t calculated into my overall score.

Glad to know I’m not the only one who got a 4 while fully expecting a 5. I don’t know what to say; I thought the test was extraordinarily easy and even thought I got a perfect score walking out! I think I’m going to contact collegeboard and have them double check my score, lol.
