yay! I spent forever checking those weird ones…Yah thank God I’m not the only one who missed the plotting point one. What was the smallest number of people you could select to get a margin of error of 5?

Jackpot you are correct.

I said it was the unusually high or low one, but the 6% was tempting…

@megan702 - it was the 2nd largest sample size . D i believe

@jackpot18 yeah its 25.25 just checked my calculator.

i said the smallest one was 350

Definitely 25.25, but I got 413 for the largest sample size. CV was 2.626 times 36/root 413 is less than 5. 350 was 5.05 for the error.

ya was choice E? I picked the largest one on there I think it was 413

Yeah that was E. Why did everybody put 350?

I calculated 350.

hahah i think everyone forgot to plot the point because the question was hidden in the thing and it was so long it just skimmed xD

@ephemeralbliss: I got that the p-value was .0615 too, so I failed to reject the null. I’m pretty good with chi square tests so I don’t understand why I’ve been getting a different answer than everybody else.

How did you calculate 350? I calculated 357 as the actual min, 413 was the next lowest. I got 8.98 for the X2 value and .011, reject the Ho.

Well I actually got 343ish.

Everyone here took Form A? No Form I?

No. I took Form O. I don’t think that really matters.

@Niceboat
I took Form I and none of the questions previously discussed sound like the ones i did

@writingdog We both used a 3x3 matrix not a 3x2. It was a simple mistake in using the a total column… so yeah… I still rejected the Ho using an alpha of .10 though. Atleast the test statistic is the same… Lol

What did you guys get the question asking you how many degree of freedom if there was 3 options and blocked by male and female. Wasn’t sure. But is it (3-1)(2-1)= 2?

I think I did terrible. I will be so grateful if I get a 4. :(
