Official AP US History Thread 2012

My class is on Chp. 31 in the book. We have been racing through it to get it finished by the end of the semester. Lots and lots of notes!

@ebriscoe: That’s where my class is too!

@iwaitz4u… I think i’m in love…

I accept Paypal :P

I’m in APUSH now. :frowning: We are studying from Brinkley’s American History: A Survey. Does anyone know where you can find the tests online?? It would be EXTREMELY helpful! thanks:)

My final is tomorrow and I’m terrified. My current grade is a B/B+, which is the lowest grade I’ve had for any class in my life. How much will one flat out B in Junior year (in an AP) affect me? (I had another B+ but I think it will be an A- for the semester)

Guess I’ll just pop in here. :stuck_out_tongue: I’m a junior with a solid B. We’re finishing up the Cold War era. I use the Liberty, Equality, Power textbook, along with Crash Course and Cracking the APUSH Exam 2012.

Coffeeandtea: I promise you are fine. A “B” is a great grade in an AP class. Besides, colleges will see that you academically challenged yourself, and they will love that.

So do you guys wanna update us on where your class is at now? We just finished the Gilded Age and immigration and are moving into imperialism.

bandgeek0295: Thanks for the reassurance!

When we get back from winter break we’ll be at the turn of the 20th century.

We are up to Chapter 31 of The American Pageant in our history class :o.

I have been looking for this book all over and the book seems to be out of stock…

Does anyone know when the book is going to be back in the stock or a place I can purchase it?

How are you guys so far ahead? We’re still pre-Civil War.

Try the publisher’s website. Also, we’re just on the civil war this week. You have to realize that schools start at different times, though, and that is why some are further than others.

We just finished the Civil war and are now outlining the part about Reconstruction for winter break homework. we’re using the 13th edition of the American Pageant.
I’m doing pretty good in APUSH right now, though it’s much more narrow and specific than World History. I have a 97 :)

If you’re still in Civil War, you’re behind. We use American Pageant, currently past Reconstruction. We’re halfway through that weird chapter with Hayes and all the unmemorable presidents. Next chapter’s outline is due the day we get back. :D

DH is now out of print :frowning: if you have a copy you are not using, PLEASE put it on amazon. you can probably make a profit from current apush students like me.

My class is only now getting to the Civil War. Our final was up to chapter 17 in the America Pageant. seems like we are way behind

We just finished imperialism and got through TR and Taft. World War I here we come!

American Pageant here. We’re still on Winter Break, but we go back on Monday :(. We start Chapter 29 and 30 on Monday. I have such a bad grade in this class :(. Hoping I can squeeze a B- or so out of this class this semester, and then next semester im going KILL this class!!

World War I? Wow, I feel so far behind! We just got through the Gilded Age and are not getting into Chapter 27 in the American Pageant.

@s2aeca what really ****es me off is that it’s one thousand dollars on amazon. I really didn’t think that was possible for a 350 page book. REA regular is cheaper on amazon now. I was thinking of just using REA regular and AMSCO for the exam, since REA is cheap and my teacher lent me her copy of AMSCO :D

Is there anybody not using Direct Hits or REA crash course for quick review? Because DH is out of print and REA crash course has only one prac. test.
