Can someone explain just how many points we need to get a 5? How much % of the MC/Essays is that??

For a 5 you could get -

Raw Score of 53 (58 right, 2 omitted, 20 wrong)
DBQ: 6 (out of 9)
Essay:5 (out of 9)
Essay: 5 (out of 9)

Interesting. Thanks.

How do we incorporate the documents into our DBQ Essay? Do we just write things like "(see Document A for an example of _)"? Or do we write things like "As seen in Document A, some believed that _ was a serious threat"?

You can do it either way. I think it's best to put "in Document ..."

Ahh, it's coming! I'm so worried!

usually if i use a quote or paraphrase from the documents i'll just cite the document at the end of the sentence or paragraph (Doc. A). I feel that saying "in document A" takes away from the essay, but if anything cite documents because it will help your grade.

On the day of the APUSH Exam (tomorrow), or any other AP exam for that matter, do we go straight to the exam location upon arriving to school?

my entire school has off tomorrow for senior prom except AP USH and AP Euro students AHHHHHHH!!!

I found this online earlier today and thought it may be useful for us. Seeing as how we can get many wrong and still manage a 4/5 relieves loads of stress!

you can do blahblahblah (Doc A).

Can someone please answer my question?

We go straight to the room after homeroom

stone.. if you really want to you can. all the test "stuff", like signing stuff and go over directions/reg. starts at 8. so i guess it depends when you get to school. i would be at the testing location by about 745.. i don't think it's that big of a deal.

Stone cutter: I suppose it depends on the school. I also go to school in the Northern Virginia area (Oakton) and I am supposed to report to the test location when school opens. Your school may have a different policy though.

yippee!! im excited!! its...in 8 hours! :)

im so nervous! i seriously would not be sweating this test right now, but my apush teacher has told me so many times "i'll be disappointed if you get a 4, unleashedfury"

ahh, i know i'm totally able to get a 5, but i'm only slightly above. like at 130 points when i need 115. i'm afraid i'll blank on one of the essays or that they'll ask me a dbq that i dont know about. so much pressure..

It's OVER!

The MC were easy, the first FRQ was hard, did not not know what to write about!!

MC: Relatively Easy
DBQ: Easy
Short Essay: Moderate

It also didnt help that in the middle of the Part II there was an announcement for a lockdown. The only reason I am home right now is because we had to leave the building. Luckily we finished the test, but as people were evacuating, students kept opening the door and shouting in and banging on it...on purpose of course. =/ So it was about 30 minutes of disruption from students.
