The MC had so many random questions that weren't very good indicators if one knew US history or not. About 5 questions were difficult, which classifies it in my opinion as hard. I prob. got a 70/80 on MC I'm guessing. Essays were cake - I wrote 12 pages!

I think I got at least 70 of the MC, nailed the DBQ, did pretty well on one of the FRQ's, but had a complete misunderstanding of one of the ones I chose to do. I didn't actually know the term they used in the question and I assumed that it meant the reality of what actually happened instead of the goal. If I wrote about the circumstances relevant to answering the questions in depth and with facts, do you think I have a chance of getting above a 1?

Yeah the free response questions were horrible the dbq was easy i just personally hate vietnam, and the mc was super easy.
I really hope i get i 5 but i for sure got a 4
ITS OVER!!!

I did the same i assume ur talking about #4? very curios to know how it will be graded all info was relevant, but just proved the opposite point of what it actually supported

Are you serious at that curve? If so, APUSH is the easiest test I've ever taken. You could get -15 on the MC and 7's on all 3 essays and still be WELL Within the 5 range.

MC: It was fairly easy; I was unsure about 20 or so, and I'm sure I got some of the ones on which I guessed correct.

DBQ: I destroyed this sucker. I integrated 8 of the 9 documents and added outside historical information about the era. My analysis was pretty strong.

FRQ #3: I did rather terribly here. Although I had a decent thesis, I had relatively little specific factual information and my analysis about the importance of railroads was irrelevant to the era.

FRQ #5: I feel that I did very well on this one. I talked about the impact of the Great Depression and foreign policy during World War II on the popularity of FDR and the Democratic party and the impact that their actions had on post-war America.

I'm sure I made at least a 4, but I'm really hoping for that 5.

youre actually not supposed to cite the documents at all. dont tell me im wrong either, ive spoken with one of the graders of the ap essays. shes been doing it for years now and said specifically not to cite them at all. they know the documents inside and out so they dont want u to cite them. they know when you have used them

Both my Euro and U.S. History teachers have been grading AP essays for a long time, and they said that the best way to cite them is to put something like "(Doc. A)" after referring to information found in them in your essay. I did not blatantly point them out; I didn't say "Document A says that..." I integrated information from them into my essay in a natural manner. I know I aced my Euro DBQ last year, and that's how I did it, so I imagine I'll be fine.

Ok. The test is over, and here are my thoughts.

MC-kinda hard. i really wasn't expecting so much stuff on culture
DBQ-kinda odd. never seen a DBQ that has as much emphasis on the present as this
FRQ-pretty easy.

I'm guessing i9 got like a 4, maybe a 5 if i get lucky :) hope for a low curve!!!
