~OFFICIAL April 2010 ACT Scores~

Aghhhhh I can’t stand waiting. At all. I wasn’t focused the first time I took it (in Feb) so I’m hoping that I at least improved by a few points

@shep: Yeah everyone gets it tomorrow that took it witth writing unless you wrote any information incorrectly. If you check actstudent.org and it says Tested, then you should get results today.

oh god!!! i had no idea they come so soon! now im freaking out!

I took the writing portion too and I got all my scores in the mail already. I suspect many have their writing scores by now. Good luck.

How is everyone already getting them

"After you test, you can check to see if your scores are available online. Multiple-choice scores from this test date will be first posted online beginning April 26 through June 4, 2010.

If your scores are not available on the first date listed above, plan to check back weekly up through the last date listed. Scores are processed and added each week, usually each Wednesday and Friday. Normally, all scores are reported by 8 weeks after the test date. (See examples of why some scores take longer.) There is no option for speeding the processing of scores.

If you take the ACT Plus Writing, your Writing scores will be posted as soon as they are ready, normally about 2 weeks after your multiple-choice scores. Your scores cannot be reported until after your Writing scores have been added.

Score reports are usually mailed within 3 to 8 weeks after the test date. (Please allow an additional 1 to 2 weeks if you test in a country other than the U.S. or Canada.)"

This is from the website itself

I wonder how people who took ACT Plus Writing got their scores already. When I took ACT Plus Writing in December, my MC scores were online first, then my writing scores were posted a few weeks later, and THEN I eventually received my score report by mail. How ironic that the “snail mail” actually beat the online score reporting for this test date.

How is it possible that people who took ACT + Writing got their scores already? Ah, I’m so jealous of you guys!

8 HOURS!

I don’t believe those who took that portion have received their scores yet.

Writing scores for April have been received by mail by a classmate of mine too. Its not out on the website yet for both of us, but we sure are glad we found out the essay score too. Good Luck.

Less than 7 more hours now :D. Hopefully my loads of homework I waited until tonight to do will keep me from having a nervous breakdown over this score (doubt it :P).

I feel ya’, buddy! I keep trying to predict my scores but since I have no idea what the curve is gonna be like, that makes it kind of difficult. I hope there’s a good science curve, but I doubt it :(

6 hours and 17 minutes until scores. What section do you all think you did worst in?

i think the science was really hard and a lot of other people have said that too so im hoping for a good curve there

Probably Reading, only because it was my worst section last time. It was definitely the outlier of my scores and I hope I can get it up this time.

I took the test without any practice, so I don’t know how I usually do. I know I got the water vapor/ice crystal question wrong on science but reading was probably the worst. No idea how I did though.

i dunno. my first time taking it i didnt have any time left and had to guess and this time i had 10 min. on each to check. i think i did pretty good if i sucked at anything it was science. i never went past physical science in school though. math was easy this time. last time i made a 23 overall. hoping for a 26 at least. i only took pre algebra so i think i did pretty good to have only went to the 10th grade

It was definitely science for me. I hurried through the questions and made a lot of stupid mistakes…I ran out of time halfway through the last section.

Also, in regards to the science curve, its the worst curve of the entire ACT test. :(

5 MORE HOURS!

How do You kniq its the worst

Because in the back of the REAL ACT Prep Book (which is made by the people who make ACT) it has the conversion charts for each section and the science curve is ALWAYS terrible compared to the others.
