Just post any comments on how you did and stuff

English- Pretty Easy Estimate 3-5 wrong
Math- It was completely different than the Feb. 11 math, those stupid graphs screwd me over. If I am lucky I think maybe 10-12 wrong(which is what I usually get on practice tests)
Reading- Easy, Ran out of time at the end and blind guessed on like 3 or 4 Hoping for anything <5
Science- What the fudge! It was hard!! I guessed on like 10, and wasn't about at least 10 other question I pray to god that I get lucky and get a least a 26 overall on this section

First time I took it

English-28
Math-24
Reading-26
Science-26

Hoping for

English-32
Math-28
Reading-32
Science-26

I thought this was about 3x easier than the April 8th one.
English: Pretty easy, guessing anywhere from a 27-34
Math: Pretty hard compared to normal, guessing 28-30
Reading: Fairly easy for me, guessing 26-32
Science: Very easy compared to the 8th, probably around a 30

Overall, I feel pretty confident. I received a 22 on the 8th one, but I think I made a huge improvement, we will see.

I made a 26 on the last one hoping for a 28+

The math was definatley hard, english was weird but easy. Reading was my fav. and science was easy

Predictions

English - 33
math - hoping above 31
reading - 34-36
science - 32-33

about 33 (happy with 32)

On Feb
english - 27
math - 30
reading - 33
science - 30
overall 30

So a three point increase would be unbelievable

do you guys remember that question in the english about the grandmother and her oven? it was like and a baked oven parted with easily? or from easily? i put from. for some reason this bothers me

I dont remember that one....

I think I remember that one, but can't remember what I put. I think it was in the same passage of the one that stumped me...the choices were "residential location" and "place." "Place" seemed way too informal, so I chose the other.
Anyone remember that one?

I thought the math was pretty easy...I may have missed only 1...something a 4th grader probably would have gotten right. It was the one that asked for the range.

Otherwise, easier than the Feb. ACT I took.....

I don't remember that one but I am guessing the answer would have been place because unless the question asked for specific detail the shortest and most concise answer would be "place", but i could def. be wrong. Do you remember how the question was worded? And for the grandmother one it was like this: blah blah blah, and an oven she parted ____.

"with easily"
"from easily"

I put "from easily", though I think I must be wrong, for some reason this one is bothering me because it was like the only one I wasn't really sure on

I think the science was hard, like I understood a little more than half the questions, and the other ones made me want to kill myself. Does anyone know if/when they do early viewing on the ACT website?

If anyone has anymore questions they were unsure of they should post them. I'm sure everyone would love to argue over the answer they think is right :) LOL

It specifically says on the ACT website that they only post early scores for national test dates. I heard 4-6 weeks....

The math test screwed me up. I guessed on the last 15 of tem i think and i put B as my answer. Ai... Got to take it in June again. Anyways does anyone know if u take it more than 3 times they average the score or if you take it only 3 times its still ok.

I put from easily but now that I think about it is sounds kind of non idiomatic so it might be with easily...I hope it's from, though

It sounds like it should be "with ease?" I dunno, I didn't take it. A lot of times they will have one per test that is like that and will make little to no sense.

There was an ACT on April 26th????? What the.....???

how do you find out if schools in the area are doing school sponsored tests? and when is the next one?

It was like a school testing date one, I live in Illinois so we were required to take the PSAE, which is the ACT Day 1 and the ACT Work Keys Day 2, the PSAE was TOO EASY :)

And of course I hope it is "from easily", I know for sure it wasn't the other two choices it just came down to those 2

Also what is with this rumor saying the ACT offered in June is the easiest ACT??? I don't get it...

college89, they only have this in Colorado and Illinois. Next year, Michigan, too.

Yes, but as I said I eliminated the other 2 answer choices and I was left with "from easily" and "with easily", "parted with was" not a choice, but than again, I don't remember the other 2 choices...LOL

There's no debate here, folks.

One parts with, but departs from.

(English major here, but anyone with fairly rigorous grammar training should know this: this is a slam not at you students but at schools, if they are not teaching this.)

So, I got it wrong??? :(
