Official April 8th ACT Scores

the act said they were having technical problems this morning and I think they now got it fixed. I was just saying that to make sure they didnt change anything.

I just called and I guess "they are my scores."

I got a composite score of 26. I am completely happy with it since my goal was to be above the national average.

Darn...my scores are not ready...it says to check in a week...did anyone else have this problem? I'm guessing it has to do with my testing center as my bros didnt get their scores either

How Did You Guys Do So Well On The Reading!!!!?!??

English: 32
Math: 35
Reading: 34
Science: 35

Composite: 34

Not as good as I hoped, but good.

english 36
math 34
reading 33
science 29
composite 33

meow- how many questions do you think you missed for that 29?

Composite: 31!!! im sooo happy with it, considering i got a 26 last time...

English:35 (i was stunned, i got a 25 on this last time)
Math:26 (not nearly as good as i predicted, but still better than my last)
Reading:31 (about what i had hoped, got a 24 last time)
Science:30 (couldnt believe it considering how hard it seemed)

overall im definitely very satisfied, hopefully ill have a better chance at my top choices!

ps, i had some trouble getting my scores, got an error message on the first try. ACT said their computers were down, had it fixed in a few hours. I had my mom text my scores to me at school, haha

Composite: 34

English: 35
Math: 35
Reading: 33
Science: 31

:)

laki, i thought i did horrible on science, i ran out of time and guessed on the last 3

34
35 math
34 reading
34 science
33 english

Really disappointed, thought I blew english away, and had I, I'd be sitting happy on a 35 right now

a little off topic, but does any1 know where i can find a database of average ACT scores of admitted applicants for colleges?

I would like to congratulate EVERYONE on their excellent scores...This site has a ridiculous number of extremely intelligent people....

I can't help but notice that the lower the score (although referring to any score in the 30s as "low" is silly), the happier the people are... I'm thrilled with my score (32).... But then there are a couple of people who got 33+ who sound somewhat disappointed...

Well, I'll go ahead and represent "the rest of us" (lower than 30)...

English: 33
Math: 28
Reading: 31
Science: 23 (!)

Composite: 29. (Would have been a 31 without the science, but whatever, I can retake it in June. Good news is that it should be relatively easy to bring it up.)

I'm not that upset with it. It will be good for others to see that some people score in more humble percentile ranks. (Not that a 29 is by any means bad, but it's the lowest posted so far).

jlauer95: I'm going to Louisiana Tech for engineering.

i got a 30. i'm happy about everything except for the science, which was a 27. i'm retaking it in june. i was so suprised a got a 30 in reading, considering i didn't even start on the last passage and guessed on all 10 questions.

It seems like most people here are getting their scores. I couldn't get mine so I called and was told that it hasn't been scored yet. The man on the phone told me though that anyone who hasn't gotten a score yet should check on Wednesdays and Fridays as these are the days they will be uploading the newly processed scores. Hope this helps those in the same situation as me.

English: 36
Math: 36
Reading: 35 damn it
science: 35

composite 36, just pray that my essay went welll

I hear what you're saying jlauer, but I am just a little dissapointed in my low English score in comparison to the others. Hopefully my essay went well and that will redeem it a little bit in the college's eyes. Congratulations to everyone! It really sounds like people did well, especially that 36! =D
