Official April SAT Score Thread

I didn't take this test but was the math harder or easier than the math on previous tests?

I thought it was about the same

Agreeing with supcollege?....1600+ are good scores/ SATs aren't everything, maybe you all should try some extracurriculars, have fun...stop being worrywarts.

1600+... uh.. ok

Haha BigLA said he got a 164 on the PSAT on an older thread and now he considers a 1600 a good score. Ok well I know of a high school drop out who got a 124 on the PSAT. Does that make a 1200+ a good score?

I'm going to personally find some of you and hurt you.

Just because I have higher standards than you?

lol. no kidding.. srsly.. people have different standards.. people should try understand that..

If the people that have 2200s and retake it get higher, can I get one of your scores?

Okay the writing section is seriously a joke guys, first of all its not even known being looked at that seriously this year since its so new.

My scores: W: 800 (even tho i got 10/12 on the essay, how does that work?)
M: 790
CR: 750

this is the only time im taking this stupid test

hey guys, if i have
SAT: 2000~april
SAT 2C: 790
SAT 2 bio:790
SAt 2 chem: 790
Gpa:4.4
do you think i can still get into USC or UCLA bio major?
Of course im going to retake SAT....(too bad)

USC and UCLA are probably a little under a match with that SAT score, yeah you should raise that but your other scores make up for it

how about ucsd?
Each school should start posting their new sat acceptance range.

Higher standards my ass. Some of you are just being ass hats.

Vassily how sure are you?

2320

750 cr, 770 math, 800 writing (80 mc; 12 essay)

You are a god among men ^

^Argh. Don't steal my lines! :)

macnyc--my daughter thinks a mistake was made on her test...maybe she mis-bubbled. She got 12 of 49 wrong, none omitted. She knows the basic rules of SAT test taking, so 12 wrong seems a little high. This should have been the easy part of the writing portion for her. Well, we'll see how she does next time.....she's registered for the June test.

I ended up with a 1920

580 CR, 740 M, 600 W-8 on essay

I plan on getting the CR and W up ASAP. Hardcore studying for me this summer.

Ebony, Just complete the 8 practice tests in the blue book (I didn't even time the ones I took) and you should be good. Use the "xiggi method" and review each question that you missed and thoroughly understand why you missed it. The other books and prep courses are a waste of money imo.

I know this helped me go from a 1280 on the old SAT (sophomore) to a 2320 on the new one (junior)!
