It varies, but 120+ will always be a 5.

I’m aiming similarly. About 65/80 on MC, and straight 6/7’s on the essays.

^^ that’s pretty much what i’m aiming for, too.

How to join your chat room, do I need invitation.

my aim: jhe23248

On my practice tests I’ve gotten 70/80+ pretty consistently, so I’m not too worried about multiple choice. I’m just afraid there’ll be some obscure DBQ and I’ll panic and blank out.

at least it wont be on farmers… i dont know what i would have done

does anyone have the answers to 1984,1988, 2001 tests?

oh god, yeah. i don’t know much about the populists and free silver and all that.

I’m sorry if I sound repetitive from other threads or anything but I’m desperately needing practice APs! I did some quick googling but didn’t come up with much, and even though I have 2 REA books the CD doesn’t work in my computer (I have a Mac) and the REA site that’s supposed to have an online practice test on it isn’t working (I can’t register with rea.com). Any other ideas? Thanks!

What are some of the most distinguishing characteristics of american society in the early 19ty century?

^King cotton, Missouri Compromise, sectionalism, Era of good feelings

um states rights
cotton
canals
factories, unions
2nd great awakening
war of 1812?

I’d add War of 1812 and Jacksonian Democracy to that list

distinguishing characteristics of american SOCIETY

Oh, sorry. Well there was a lot of nationalism following the War of 1812 which led to more focus on arts and literature and stuff. And I think sectionalism would fall under that category.

hamptom, i dont see why you emphasized the word SOCIETY in your second post. that list pertains to american society.

Sorry, but what is AMSCO? Unabbreviated?
I’m also banking on my MC. I got around 3/4th of them right on a practice one from previous years, which is pretty good, but on essays I’m pretty screwed.

AMSCO is the name of a prep book.

Did yo know that last year 41.1% of people taking the APUSH test got a 1?!?!?! That freaks me out. Only like 9% got 5’s.

Yes…which prep book
