I got waitlisted to… 4 girls applied form my school, and 3 of them got waitlisted including me, the other one is rejected so s77theresa any advice?

a few things…immediately accept your spot on the wait list;
write a letter to the dean of admissions, care of your regional reader (the letter has to be read and put into your file);
every 3 out so weeks, reach out either with a call from you or your college counselor; or send some news (summer internship, exceptional school recognition) &, also rack your brain for any contact you might have who can write on your behalf.ass well, I’d a Barnard is attending a spring college fair in your area, go and reintroduce yourself to the regional rep. your goal is to get yourself top of mind, in a non obnoxious way, in case any spots open up. good luck!

sorry about the typos…anyway my daughter followed this plan and she was fortunate enough to get off the wait list eventually.

I am so excited to have been accepted through the Barnard Opportunity Program! Can’t wait to visit in April.

did anyone hear back about waitlist?

Yes. One of my daughter’s friends just heard today that she is accepted off of the waitlist. My daughter is so thrilled that they will be at Barnard together!

Any news? 10char
