Summer Activities: Did a medical conference at Northwestern University over the summer before my senior year. Received a Scholarship to attend.

Essays: Best pieces I’ve ever written. My supplemental essay really put into perspective how much I wanted to attend (for me). I think the epitome of a good essay is something that really reflects who you are.

Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I don’t think I can pinpoint one thing that would have “sealed the deal.” I do, however, believe that the idea of looking at the applicant holistically is true.
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Accepted at Loyola University Chicago, University of Minnesota. Waitlisted at Kenyon College, University of Wisconsin Madison and University of Chicago- I think it was because of my unpromising ACT…

General Comments: I believe that by the end of the application process, I had a pretty accurate idea of which school I wanted to go to. They gave me a gracious amount of FA ( A little below 50k). I hope everyone is happy with the result of this years college application process!
