<p>General Comments:
I'm so happy that I got in because I never really finished filling out all of my other applications or writing all of those other supplemental essays. My advice to all of those who are applying is to be enthusiastic about Bates and show that to the adcoms through your application. Good luck everyone :) to those who got in, see you at Bates next year!!!!! To everyone who didn't, it doesn't matter, you'll still get into a great school and you'll have a fantastic time at college. And to those who were defferred, I'm crossing my fingers for you! Good luck!</p>

<p>I'm so nervous. I want to go to Bates so bad, but I couldn't apply ED because of financial reason. I hope it shines through how badly I want to attend in my application and essay.</p>

I proved to Bates that my skills in English and journalism were valuable and that they needed to accept me.
