General Comments: Congratulations to all who were accepted; you all worked hard towards your acceptances!!

They only send out the honors invitations to people who have accepted a place at Binghamton already. So you won’t be able to find out whether you’re in the honors program and then decide if you want to enroll-- you have to definitely be going to Binghamton before you’re invited. I just checked and I got the email May 9th. May 1st, I think, is when most schools ask you to decide for good.

Congrats to everyone!!

Thanks, @rebeccar! Any info on financial aid?

I didn’t qualify for financial aid so I have no idea what the process is. I do know that it’s extremely rare, if not unheard of, for incoming freshmen to get merit scholarships; Binghamton doesn’t really do that. Apparently in the past, everyone in the scholars program got a full ride, but now there’s no money associated with it. Based on your stats (35 and 4.0) I’d say it’s really likely you’ll get an email to apply to the scholars program if you choose to come here.

Awesome! Thanks for the information, and I think I speak for everyone in that regard.
