*~*~Official Boston College Class of 2015 RD Decisions Thread~*~*

We’re in eastern NY close to the Mass border, but nothing today. Hopefully tomorrow.

I am from new york city. Do you think I got mine?

Good luck everyone! It’s so satisfying when you get the big folder, and you tend to forget about how long it seemingly took the mail to come. :)

Accepted to College of Arts and Sciences!!!

Waitlisted, deferred ea.

Waitlisted in MA. Regular “small” envelope came in today’s mail. Oh well. Not first choice anyway! GLTA.

[/ul]General Comments: WHAT THEEEEEEEEEEEEEE…how in the world did I get into the honors program? I’m not shocked that I got into BC, but I’m shocked that I was considered to be in the top 5% of applicants. My SAT score wasn’t phenomenal, and neither are my grades. Clearly they consider applicants for the honors program on a very holistic basis. I wasn’t really considering BC before (after getting admitted to UMich), but now I am because of the honors program and I like its proximity to home (among other things).

Accepted to College of Arts and Sciences!!! I’m so excited

Am I the only person in MA not to hear back…? Are any of the MA kids who heard back from Cape Cod?

Accepted!!!
Lol and this was one of my reach schools!

I live in Illinois and am still waiting an admissions decision…

any international student?
I didn’t even get an email from Fedex saying there’s a package for me.
argh…

By the way, the acceptances do come in a large envelope. Hopefully you’ll know you’re accepted right away then. Best of luck to everyone!

How did you all hear? I applied for Nursing from Pennsylvania and haven’t heard anything!

I think BU staggers them; i think tomorrow should be a large wave. Either that or these are the top students. Unlike many schools, i hope, who send out all at once and if you dont get you are a rejection…seems like too few acceptances thus far for that to be possible

I got into USC today though, so i’ve crossed BU off the list
Best of luck everyone!

well, this is BC…but I think only massachusetts has gotten decisions just because of proximity.

It makes me very sad to hear some of you take for granted the opportunity you just received. My daughter has an equally impressive profile and was rejected. This was her first choice and she would have embraced every opportunity Boston College had to offer. iIf only BC admissions had insight of intentions. I wish all of you the very best!

Acceptance/Denial doesn’t matter with the mail ordering of the BC letters. A friend of mine (I live in MA) got his rejection letter today, another one of my friends got accepted, and another one got waitlisted. I have yet to hear back after being deferred EA…
