[/ul]Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: Grades, lots of extracurriculars w/ leadership, writing and reading SAT, ACT score, recommendations
[] Weaknesses: Math SAT, SAT IIs, Essay, School- my school is so tiny there is little recognition. No opportunity for APs, no real class choices, no real guidance counselor. This only the second year of even having a graduating class. It was crazy trying to fight to get all of my transcripts and things in on time…but this just may be me trying to give myself a reason to feel better.
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I guess I just am not what they are looking for in an applicant. The weaknesses I’m listed probably played a part.
[] Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Accepted- UNH, Marist, Northeastern, Colgate
Pending- Dartmouth (Ha!) and Middlebury

[/ul]General Comments: I’m pretty sad about it. I’m sure I’ll get over it though. Getting an acceptance from Colgate today cushioned the blow, but not by much since BC was my #1 choice. (I was wearing a BC shirt today and changed as soon as I read the letter =( ) I’m nervous about what I’ll here from Middlebury tomorrow morning, and Dartmouth later next week. It may be for the best, since my graduating class is literally over 1,000 times smaller than the undergraduate population at BC, and it would be a rough adjustment.

Not sure if I’ll accept the waitlist offer. We won’t be able to pay if we don’t get decent financial aid…and I’d rather not have the stress of this on it, and knowing that I’m kinda a “second choice” for the school.

Hopefully it’s for the best, and life goes on.

PS. Sorry for writing a novel.
