Central California. No mail, no status change.

Has anyone figured out what their process is for sending out admissions decisions?

Email or call your district’s admissions representative telling he/she that you still haven’t received it in the mail and ask them to send you the decision via email. Have your college counselor do it for you if you can.

My counselor wrote to the admissions guy this morning and 30 minutes later he emailed me the decision. I still haven’t received the mail in person but I know my decision through email

I am contrasting the chaos on this discussion versus other threads for schools like Villanova, Stanford and Santa Clara. An idea for BC admissions: like it or not, websites like College Confidential exist and this is the information age. Step one: Send out an email to all EA applicants at the same time. Step two: Mail out follow-up information via snail mail on the same day the email is sent. Result: no chaos, no applicants learning in a cruel, impersonal way (change or no change on portal). I’m on west coast and have not received a letter, but the discussion here suggests I’ve been rejected or deferred.

Pigs4eva, were you accepted? And if you were, did you portal change?

Yeah I was accepted. If your portal changed, you are DEF accepted although just because your portal hasn’t changed doesn’t necessarily mean you weren’t accepted.

I saw my portal change, enrolled immediately and then had my counselor call BC. He emailed me my acceptance letter after I was already enrolled haha

Congrats and thank you that was very helpful!

But… i very heavily doubt that portal will change because someone stated before that it should have updated for everyone on Dec 19. Hope this is false! Praying to godddd it will change!

Agora portal hasn’t changed for me.

ACT: 33

Thought I had a decent chance at EA acceptance. Compared to other’s stats BC’s admissions seem kind of random.

@SaintsFan1512 : my son also got accepted in CSM. Does it specifically say Honors in your letter. For us it does not mention any Honors.

Hello everyone! I have two daughters that attend BC…with one there was a portal change before we received the acceptance letter…with the other (recently ) , the portal didn’t change until several days After the acceptance letter.
So hang in there and good luck to everyone.
Go Eagles!

heycall123 my portal hasn’t changed and i also live in the dc area. Although i did get an acceptance letter tonight. Hopefully it wasn’t by mistake. To all those who’s portal havent changed, maybe they might be still updating it.

@hollandroza Yes, my Agora did change.
@ucmom1 Yes. “I am delighted to offer you Early Action admission to the honors Program of the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.”

Thanks @SaintsFan1512 . Congrats. Our letter does not say Honors. But still happy to get accepted.

@hollandroza Thanks! A CSOM acceptance is a CSOM acceptance. Congrats to your S too!

SwatBoy and helicoptermom THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME HOPE! SwatBoy I’m sure it wasn’t a mistake.

Anyone got any financial aid or scholarship info?

@swatboy GOD BLESS AMERICA! And congrats!

@Swatboy Make sure you click Applicant Status on your Agora Portal, that’s where it changes. Let us know if it still hasn’t changed.

Hey guys.
I’m an international student, and I got my email 2 days ago. My portal didn’t change for me until today, so don’t worry about the portal updates I’m sure they don’t change for everyone at the same time

Hang in there!
