it still hasnt changed and Im thinking of calling the admissions officers tomorrow if it hasnt changed by then.
@babolat it still sends me to my application checklist when I click on applicant status. Maybe its a server problem.

I just checked my portal, and now the email services tab is gone. Does anyone know what that means?

I just checked mine too and my email services tab is gone as well.

I still have the tab but it no longer allows me to click on it.

I also have the thing with the email tab. No other updates on my portal, nor a letter in Ohio…BC is my number one and i can’t sleep because of it

@Sullivan7 I feel your pain This is so stressful. At this point I’m just hoping for at least a deferral. BC is my #1 and has been for a while. A rejection would be devastating.

Some of the tabs on the portal disappear at midnight. For some reason the server shuts down and some of the letters are gone. This happens with everyone and does not mean anything.

I don’t believe anyone received financial aid or scholarship info with their acceptances. Tax returns are due January 1 and the FAFSA is due February 1.

We live in the sf Bay Area - no portal changes or mail as yet. D’s scores are very strong and we thought she was either deferred or denied BUT some people in the list in a similar boat have stronger records. So hoping for the best. Bc said they will email decision today

I live in Hawaii - no letter yet and no portal change. I have a feeling I either got deferred or denied.

Letter just came… deferred. Im gutted

Deferred. 2040 SAT, 4.16 GPA, lots of EC’s and leadership. Didn’t take subject tests and I knew this would hurt me. Oh well.

My son got some financial aid page but no other change on portal. Hmmmm. Nothing is clickable though.

Has anyone in Tampa area gotten mail…four days now and I still have nothing…so frustrating

deffered:( ive lost all hope

im in south miami and still havent received anything! not a letter or a portal change. i called the admissions office today and they said they close tomorrow and reopen in the beginning of january. what do i do?

@miamicollege the letter will come eventually but if your portal hasnt changed then its probably deferral or rejection

Just got in! From northern Michigan.

Decision: Accepted
School: College of Arts & Sciences
ACT: 31 (super-scored 32) essay 10
SAT I: Didn’t mean to send it but I did, anyways I got a 1980 I doubt it really affected my decision because i sent in my ACT. (I only took the SAT once but I prefer the ACT)
SAT II (place score in parentheses): Biology 710
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): I feel like it’s really bad when I compare it too other people’s on CC unweighted GPA (no one has a 4.0 in my school… at least no one in advanced classes), but our school weights it so its different. Not really sure what it is unweighted BUT i mostly get A’s and B’s in AP classes.

Counselor Rec: I think good

State (if domestic applicant): Florida
School Type: Private prep school
Ethnicity: hispanic (immigrant parents)
Income: high income
Gender: female
Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): Hispanic, course load (I’ve always taken all the highest possible classes offered at my school)
I feel like my test scores were low especially when everyone on CC says they have a perfect score.(ACT not really focusing on my SAT since I’m not sending that in anywhere… besides here which was an accident)

Overall I’m really happy and glad I’ve been accepted, now I can relax. I’m waiting (anxiously) to hear back from Notre Dame, then various other schools in April. To everyone who was deferred don’t lose hope! There’s still a chance! Things tend to happen for a reason, but in the end everything works out! To everyone else accepted congrats!!
