Reflection
Strengths: Senior year GPA (4.21) along with my leadership roles and essays.
Weaknesses: Low test scores and not much curriculum rigor.
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: My test scores were very low, and I didn’t express too much interest in the school.
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Waitlisted @ URichmond. Accepted @ Loyola, JMU, Miami(OH), Villanova, Delaware, St. Joes. Still waiting on Fordham. BC was my 2nd choice behind Villanova, so I’m not disappointed that I didn’t get in to BC.

Not in Monday’s mail

My son was waitlisted from NH. 1900 SATs, 3.83 UW GPA. BC wasn’t his first choice although he loved it there so it’s good.

Collegetimesfour…I feel you. Son asked me not to look in the mailbox…of course I did. Thin envelope. Either rejection or waitlisted. SIGH…I left all the mail for him there…I’m so sad for him :(

[/ul]General Comments: Got into my first choice so I probably won’t be attending, but I loved BC when I went to visit! Seems like a great school and I definitely would’ve enjoyed it there. Congrats to everyone who was accepted, and keep your head up to those of you who weren’t! Everything happens for a reason, and you’ll all end up somewhere even better <3

From NYC, wait listed too! Don’t feel like writing my stats, but they were above the average range for getting in- i.e., why I was wait listed; I think there is just to much competition from my high school and in the Northeast. But for the person who asked, yes I do think they will likely take from the waitlist.Lots of people apply and use it as a safety- especially those from Catholic HS. I know tons of people each year who get accepted and don’t go, either because they get into a higher ranked school or because BC doesn’t give very many scholarships- only a few to the Pres. Scholars, and very little otherwise. Unless you qualify for FA. Anyway, I got into higher ranked schools with money and am still waiting for a few more. But, I did like BC- it’s a great school if you can afford it. GOOD LUCK!

I’m from NYC and I was wait listed. Quick stats: 30 ACT, 3.9 UW GPA. Not really upset cause I have other options lol GOOD LUCK GUYS!

I’m middle class, but with a family of 4 children in alternative education and parents that tithe…let’s just say I’m just as nervous about the financial aid as I was about the admissions decision
