****Official Boston College RD Class of 2018 Decision Thread****

@dmichelle2014 i think its either that y r a full scholarship athlete or a honors student or top 10% of class

Accepted to CSOM. 33 ACT, 770 Math 2. GPA hard to compare as I go to a competitive private school. Have 4 major leadership positions, SYA and Catholic background. I would say I had among the best essays they received. I am not a great writer but I just had clairvoyance when writing the essay about let the great world spin.

D waitlisted, Accepted with scholarships to other schools, including Northeastern Business program, already committed to Richmond so not too affected but high scores,+comm service, high GPA. We have found this whole admission process to be a crap shoot… Congrats to all the accepted. Have fun in Beantown!

Wait…I didn’t get any letters yet! Why is that?
My friends have gotten them already! And we go to the same school!

@seniorpanic- don’t worry if you have not received your letter. You should receive it in a day or two. It might have something to do with which school you applied to ( CSOM, CAS, Lynch or the nursing school.)

@dreambig101- Oh okay. That’s good then. Thanks!

Does anyone know how hard it is to transfer from A&S to CSOM?

Received my welcome packet today in CA! Accepted for CAS with a 2320 SAT and 3.88 UW / 4.71 W GPA. Yay for speedy mail deliveries, haha.

@RCLVRR on the tour the rep said that it was nearly impossible to transfer into CSOM, he said that he only heard of 2 people actually doing it the previous year

@dmichelle2014. Oh man ok thanks. I applied to the business school for every other one of my colleges I just don’t know why I applied ton A&S for this one! Do u know if maybe it’s easier to transfer before school starts? Or is that what the tour guide was already referring to?

@RCLVRR I’m not sure of transferring before school starts but I know he was referring to transferring within the school year.
