thanks myoneandonly!! it seems as though very few people received notification today- i’m sure they’ll send out the next wave of emails soon!

Congratulations to those who were accepted!

However, I must say that I am very disappointed with BC. They should just give everyone an acceptance or rejection email at the same time.

I just got an email that I’m on their waitlist.
Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

I feel kinda sad. T-T
Does anyone know that if there is any possibility to get in from the waitlist as a transfer applicant??

Just got my transfer acceptance today. Congrats to the rest of you. Maybe I’ll be seeing you all this fall.

SAT I: 2130 (730CR 660M 740W)
SAT II: 800 Latin 750 Literature
3.99 college GPA

Why is this handled so poorly. Still waiting on an e-mail, letter, anything…

^ For all that were accepted, definitely attending? Or was BC your safety?

@transfermonk if you’re still looking at this, they sent rejections via email as well?

Everyone’s probably gonna get an email by tomorrow. The system just needs a lot of time to process emails for 1500 people. Reminds me a lot of Questbridge.

Will be attending- if I can afford it.

Also, all of my classes transferred as electives, and one of my classes isn’t on my audit at all, not even as a Not Transferred; it’s just not there. I’m going to be calling BC tomorrow to see if I can at least have my Chemistry class count toward the major requirement, as I can’t really afford to take my Freshman year over again : /

Yes, there is a chance to get admitted off the transfer waitlist – my niece did so last year. I believe they notified her on June 1st – took her awhile to get a room on campus, but she did.

Still waiting for an e-mail either way here – portal’s back to the way it was before Sunday – no more “Pay Enrollment Fee” on it.

I really hope they let the rest of us know either via e-mail or regular mail by tomorrow!

My son heard by email today that he’d been accepted, but he will not be attending. Maybe that’ll open up a spot on the waiting list.

@meppie, i will not be attending

People not attending FOR SURE, decline fast? Pretty please, it could actually give some of us who haven’t gotten e-mails or will be on the waitlist a slim chance, but less slim than it is now. :)

haha will do! i actually sent in an email yesterday withdrawing my application but i guess they didn’t get it in time… i’ll send the email again in hopes it’ll help one of you guys out!

^ You really are the sweetest thing! The karma can’t hurt. :)

I really hope, no matter what the outcome is, that BC tries to fix this notification thing. :)

May I ask one last time if anyone who got an email today (accepted) had tabs before?

I had tabs before. I did not get an email. About half an hour ago I regained the ability to pay the enrollment fee (not the extra tabs yet, but when i click application status it sends me to pay my enrollement fee) so I have no freaking clue what any of this means.

Me too. I paid my deposit, but nothing happened. Hopefully I’m not getting charged 500 for nothing. It said my account should be updated within an hour though.

I know this isn’t comforting, but if you paid your deposit, I’m sure they would give it back if it was just a glitch. However, if you had the opportunity to pay it I really think that you don’t have anything to worry about. Just don’t lose hope until you see something in writing.

Okay, just checked and now have the “Pay Enrollment Confirmation Fee” tab again – do you think I should just submit the payment so that they’d HAVE to take my son!!! Like you said Paula, I’m sure they’d give back the $ if this was their problem. The more positive side of me says this can only be a good sign though :)

Still no e-mail here . . .
