[] Essays: Some of my best work to date. Wrote about how I went from getting an embarrassing score at a District audition to realizing the importance of practice, perseverance, and perfectionism in music. Showed a lot of insightfulness, which I think helped a lot. Showed interest in BU in my supplement essay. I didn’t cover up my quirkiness, which probably worked in my favor.

[] Counselor Rec: Didn’t read, but I practically live in that guidance office and have a great relationship with my counselor.
[] Additional Rec: Got one from my field organizer from the Obama campaign. Really good, talked about how dedication and passion for politics (political science major) and how hardworking I am.

[/ul]General Comments:[list]
[li] I will not be attending Boston this fall due to the fact that I was offered NO aid, despite having received excellent packages from all of the other schools I have heard back from. It’s a shame, really, especially since BU was my dream school. Congratulations and best wishes to all of the future Terriers on here. To those who weren’t accepted, nothing I can say will change the pain you’re probably feeling, but just remember that getting accepted to these schools is a crap shoot. You will find where you’re meant to go and you’ll figure it out. Everything happens for a reason.
[/li]

Good luck everyone!!!
