<p>I just read that students can’t stay for Thanksgiving or spring break. If they want to say, the housing people MAY give you permission to stay at a nearby hotel for which you have to pay a lot of money. That is so ridiculous. Do I have to move all my stuff for four days? BU really knows how to keep their students unhappy huh.</p>

im an international student and my current school allows me to stay in my room…
yeah i guess that’s something to consider before choosing a school…</p>

<p>Yeah you have to apply for “vacation” housing and it costs extra. I’m sure as an international they won’t force you to leave haha but you’ll have to move. I’m from California and its too far and expensive for me to go home during spring break and thanksgiving so I’ll be staying as well. It’s just a big pain the ass and a hassle. USC doesn’t do this crap.</p>

<p>Hey guys! I submitted my application about 2 months ago and still no decision. When I call the office they tell me decisions come out May 15th as if it’s set in stone… obviously that’s not the case so I don’t really understand what’s going on… do they maybe just release the rejections on May 15th or something lol…</p>
<p>On BU’s web site it states that decisions will release mid-may to mid-june
so i don’t think it’s just for rejections…</p>

<p>I was just joking about the rejections… I just find the inconsistency between what I’m reading here and what they are telling me on the phone funny cz it’s like some kind of a secret that they have been releasing decisions. Either way it doesn’t really matter to me. I just want to know when to check the website or my email…</p>

<p>To be honest im not sure. Had to send in some extra information for the financial aid package. So im waiting on that. It all depends on that really whether I choose to go or not.</p>

<p>I got my “tentative” credit evaluation today. They didn’t include the Spring Semester in the evaluation. Out of my 49 units already completed, 40 transfer. A bit low, but not that bad.</p>
<p>I sent BU an email as I too am still waiting for my decision. They said: “We are still completing the review of your file, so you should be hearing back from us within the next few weeks.” </p>
<p>Gahhh!!! The wait is horrible.</p>
<p>I forgot to post that I was accepted into the school of management. I honestly don’t think I will be attending. The financial aid they offered was low. They offered me $20,000 while many schools are offering me more than $50,000. I may appeal the financial aid but at this point I probably won’t bother, not very interested considering my other options.</p>
<p>This is the downfall of BU. They don’t give much financial aid and people lose interest, especially given their other options. Out of everyone that has posted in this thread, I don’t think there is a single person who was accepted and genuinely decided on attending. </p>
<p>I am still waiting on USC and they have a gigantic thread on this site for transfers and almost all of them will be attending USC if accepted. Several of them from my major as well. I hate to rant on like this but its just sad. I just don’t want to make the wrong choice if I chose BU.</p>
