I just received my Boston University Trustee’s Scholarship notification through the mail. I thought it would be great to have a thread for stats of those accepted to BU as Trustee’s Scholars for future applicants. In fact, it would probably be great for anyone who receives one of BU’s large merit scholarships to post. I think if we post what our stats are and when we received our letter it would be helpful for future applicants!

Hey, I live in Miami, FL, and I’m waiting to hear for that scholarship, too. Did you receive your acceptance to BU via that letter or email? Thanks. =]

I live in Texas and got the letter via snail mail, so I think it’s definitely plausible that yours could still be in the mail. The date on the letter says the 21st, so I assume that’s when they mailed them. Lol you should know, it comes in a thin regular envelope that looked quite a bit like a rejection letter until I opened it ;)

I got a letter from the BU Honors College that said I got the Trustee scholarship even though I still haven’t gotten the Trustee letter itself, which is kind of weird.

I wanted sooo badly to apply for that one, but it was due during probably the most stressful school week of my life, so I ended up passing out on my laptop the night it was due, hahaha.

Edit: Plus, they probably wouldn’t have given me another half tuition scholarship since I already got the National one…

What do University Scholars get other than half-tuition? I’m one and I don’t quite understand it hahaha but I’m happy! Who gets chosen to be a university scholar?
