were you already admitted for the spring?

Sorry for not reading through 27 pages of posts but is there any news on when admissions decisions are supposed to be out?

yeah I found out on Friday (I had asked for an expedited decision). in my first message I basically said nothing on my online portal has changed, it even still stays fall 2011, so don’t worry yourself over the details of the online portal. i honestly don’t think it means anything. try your best to just focus on finals and not worry over all this speculation :)

@redsilver. You can call the admissions office tomorrow for your decision. The decisions may have been mailed Friday so you might receive it in the mail Monday or Tuesday.

ah thanks thats really nice of you to post! thanks for the info. and @redsilver, they are mailing on monday and you can also call then

Hm… I don’t see a personal information tab…

me neither, im quite confused

ye… idk what they’re talking about…

^^ They’re talking about personal information tab on Brown application status portal. Nothing has changed for anyone so no need to worry about it lol. Just patiently wait til tomorrow, everyone. Less than 24 hours.

I don’t and haven’t had that tab…where exactly is it located? Is it the application summary or are you talking about a separate “tab window”?

yeah ive never had that tab either. also for the brownwiki i can sign in but then it says im not allowed to do anything else

Wait a minute…when I log in, I proceed through Applicant and Student > Review My Application(s) > Fall 2011 > and one single Application Summary page. I don’t see any of those Student Accounts, Register etc…

Is Brown more or less competitive than Penn? Chicago? Duke?

More competitive than all of the above

@softpillows,

same thing here! can more people check that out?

@ hitsmallkids,

Really? I was under the impression that Brown was on par with Penn…

penn is usually much less competitive for admission (for the college, at least, not wharton) than most of the other ivies, including brown. although im not sure if that holds true for transfer especially after this year’s transfer stats from penn.

@softpillows, its on the absolute first page before you even go to your own admissions page or whatever

I don’t see a personal information tab either. Are you guys referring to the information you can enter on your application, such as intended major and email address?

@safetosay. I am not very sure about transfer stats. but with regular decision Penn, Cornell, Dartmouth, and Columbia are the “easier” to get into…while Harvard, Brown, Princeton, and Yale are the “hard” ones.
