Oh my god... I'm in shock...

I'M ACCEPTED!!!! And congrats to everyone else accepted!

My deepest regrets to those who got deferred/rejected.

Congrats cbomo and rabokarabekian. (and any other acceptees) Sorry to anyone who was not accepted.

D was deferred - anyone know what the chances of a deferred to get in on RD are?
Congrats to those accepted! Good luck to all other ED'ers - there are lots of other great schools out there!

Congratulations guys!

I Got In!!! :d

well looks like i wont be joining you guys....

rejected

I won't be either

rejected

deferred, I have to wait for another 5 months

Oh Tommy, I'm sorry, I guess brown will forever be void of a left-handed club. Though not brown, columbia had a 15% acceptance rate for defferrees in the rd round last year, which was slightly above the 10.5% overall acceptance rate. So all I'm saying is don't give yourself false hopes, you don't want to be disappointed twice.

The acceptance rate for deferred applicants is ~10%. It is not impossible though. I did it! I've met three other freshmen who I know did it too! You just need to keep their attention. Send in a letter saying Brown is still your 1st choice. Do well 1st semester. Send an update in the late winter/early spring. Send another teacher req. Just keep it coming! Show interest!

Accepted!!!!!!

check out the dart board, a parent (I think) gives really good advice on how to get their attention

oh, and congrats to all future Brunonians! welcome to the Brown family!

Accepted (yea!) but deferred PLME (doh!)

this is the happiest day of my life

accepted
