-1st violin, All state orch, manage celtic band
-Editor of 30,000 reader+ high school newspaper

Why I got waitlisted: Bad grades junior year, probably. However, due to my recent onslought of thin envelopes, I'm thinking I just suck at life. Or I'm not tall enough or something.

I was waitlisted as well with 2030 SAT's and a weighted 4.2 gpa. They sent me the little postcard with the options of what I would do if i was accepted, like "definitely will enroll", "will consider enrolling" and "will not enroll".

I figure if I check the box that says "definitely will enroll" I have a much better chance of getting in. Does anybody know how long it takes to hear back from them about their decision?

Desi_style:

In the end I think I would have chosen to attend GW. DC is my 2nd favorite city, there is a ton to do around campus, there are fantastic internship opportunities, and GW has some of the best dorm rooms in the country.

I have not had a chance to visit Bucknell but everyone that I have talked to has said that it has a fantastic campus. However, I would much rather be in an urban environment like DC rather than the middle of Pennsylvania.

I plan on going right into business school after college so internships are important, and DC is a much better place to get an internship than rural Pennsylvania.

alanstats, I got the Jewish thing too! A page and a half about how great a place Bucknell is for Jewish people, lol...I found it pretty funny.

wierd eh? but jess, did you get an official admission packet yet? All I got was the Jewish thing lol

alan -- I believe I got the admission packet on the same day as the Jewish letter, lol.
