<p>I really would like to goto SLO, majoring in aerospace engineering. I applied for ed and did not make it and really would like to go to school here. I have "Thank you for applying to Cal Poly. We have received your application. No determination has been made at this time. " as my status, but I am still hopeful. It sucks when friends are getting in, and then ontop of that people in the same major are getting in and I have no change in status. </p>

<p>This is my top choice!! Anyways, you cant have anything but hope, so thats what I will have.</p>

<p>General Comments: It was his safety school… Pretty funny in my opinion, considering his stats are on par with most applicants to this school. It seems more of a match school with stats like that, but I guess he got really lucky! His SAT score is pretty horrendous too (Hahaha), but his ACT made up for it I guess.</p>

<p>wait i’m like 99% sure i got accepted because the myportal homepage changed and a video of people saying “CONGRATULATIONS” came up but like no where did it say anything about my major. when i applied i put computer science as my major so can i just assume that i made it as a computersci major?</p>

<p>mailmemarina: yea, if you got accepted into CP SLO you got into your first-choice, very rarely do they accept people into their second choice. If they did they would have stated it explicitly.</p>

<p>My son has been accepted as a business major. I looked at the portal yesterday around 1PM, but do not know when the acceptance was posted, as I hadn’t looked at the portal for a while. His ACT was 31 and GPA around 3.8.</p>
