<p>@dschz93 I’m not so sure. My friend applied Ag Business (so the traditional first-to-knows) but had much lower stats than me (both gpa and test scores) and has already heard that he’s in, where as I’m still waiting for bio. I think it’s just by major/department and not by “rank”</p>

<p>Did you guys receive an email notifying you that you got accepted? Also, someone said they’re releasing decisions base on your major (in alphabetical)… but it doesn’t really seem that way? I applied for animal science and haven’t heard of any news S:</p>

<p>Based on last year’s process, you will not get an e-mail for quite awhile. Just keep checking your portal and see if your admission status has changed. </p>
<p>It also takes awhile to be able to choose accept and decline. Don’t worry about that until you need to apply for housing. Be sure to do that as soon as you can, even if you may change your mind about CP. </p>
<p>Last year they released by school and major. Nothing alphabetical about it that I can remember. It will be happeneing pretty fast now that they have begun.</p>

<p>thats what I am wondering as well… if you are in the business major or ag. major and haven’t heard is that a sign of rejection? I want to know if they send out all the acceptances first or if its all mixed with acceptances/rejections.</p>

<p>Even if you haven’t heard and are an ag or business major I would keep checking. There’s just no way to be sure until you get the accepted/declined notice on your portal. We can never know what they’re thinking.</p>

<p>Last night when I was checking I couldn’t log on to the “student center” part of the portal…I think the server was down - maybe overloaded? - Eventually it worked around
9 30pm. (PST). The acceptance must have been posted sometime between 5 ish and then. Good luck to you!</p>

<p>S was accepted for Computer Engineering sometime between 9 AM and 11:40 AM today (2/17). </p>
<p>Relevant stats: OOS, 33 ACT, 2190 SAT, 3.6 uw GPA (school does not weight), 3.9 UC GPA</p>
<p>ACCEPTED! as a 3rd year transfer Environmental Engineering major from Santa Monica Community College. Got declined in Fall 2010 but accepted for Fall 2011 !</p>

My daughter is in her 2nd year at Poly, and it is a great school with small classes, lots of hands-on, wonderful town, and amazing students.
