I am almost certain that they care about the credits and the course taken, not when you took it. Especially since it’s a computer doing just calculations. I know how stressful it but be but try to not worry. Nothing you can do now.

I also found myself reading over my app 6976 times after it was submitted to look for something I’d mess up. Probably not the best thing to do because it only paranoid me. Hahaha

@Ohhibye Do not worry! That was what you were supposed to do, it was in the directions!! There was no 7th grade option so they said to put it under 8th. I remember because I had the same issue.

I realized something even worse. I definitely messed up big time because my middle school goes by trimesters and I only submitted 2 grades for those years instead of 3. (for alg. 1 and geo). I didn’t know where to put the 3rd grade so I assumed you only had to put in 2 grades. So now it says I have 10.67 semesters of math when I really should have 12. You need to have 2 semesters of both geometry and Algebra and I only have like 1.5 of each because it went by trimester and I only put in 2 grades… You automatically get denied if you don’t have the full requirements, but in actuality I had more than they required… Geez I can’t take this. I don’t even think I’m going to continue checking my portal anymore. I wish someone at my school could’ve explained more thoroughly how to fill out this stuff.

I don’t think I’m okay. I am completely denied already. Out of the required semesters of math, they require 4 to be from Algebra (messed up on my last post) and 2 from geometry. According to the way I filled out my app, I don’t even have those required semesters. And I kept counting down the days to tomorrow… I am so disappointed right now. They most likely automatically rejected me already.

Log in to CSU mentor, then click application confirmation for SLO, then there is a link that says “Click here for a copy of your application FOR YOUR RECORDS ONLY”

@seniorit15 go on csu mentor and click view app confirmation. Then they’ll give you the link to view it. Sorry I can’t really explain it in detail, I’m just in a major shock right now.

Just looked at the portal. At the login screen it says this:

Critical System Status

Could this mean decisions are being made??? :-/

@polybio I don’t think it means decisions are being made, but the website being prepared for high amount of people trying to view their apps Thursday and Friday! Still a sign that results will be posted soon!

@socalgirl97 I’ve read from so many places that the system automatically rejects you if you don’t have the required classes they need. I’ve Even read that not a single human sees your application. But even if that wasn’t true, I think the system already rejected me. Geez I don’t even know what now I’m just freaking out so much now.

@Ohhibye I don’t believe that for a second! Maybe the system throws a red flag that causes a real person to look and see what’s wrong. 2/3s of a math class would certainly do that. Don’t give up hope!

@ohhibye but you inputted a grade for both “semesters” right? Even though for you, they’re technically trimesters? Please tell me you didn’t put NC or something like that, right?

@roxy401 no I didn’t put NC and I did input two grades for the “semesters”. But on term type I put “trimester” and that meant I should have put in 3 grades

Okay, well if there weren’t spots for three grades, they cant expect you to put three grades. DO NOT WORRY, it is not game over yet. Just wait.
