<p>Just got off the phone with admissions as well. The gal I spoke with said that decisions began going out Friday the 14th, all across the states. She also mentioned that this was a record year of applicants with 51,000 and only 5,600 spots to fill. I asked her if the decisions are coming out in any specific order and she said they might be but she didn’t have that information. I also asked if OOS student’s were notified first and she said that they were not. I did mention to her that everyone who posted on our forum was from oos and no one from California. She said to be patient and keep checking your portal:) </p>
<p>Oh my, SLO is known as a geeky engineering/science school. Perhaps it is alphabetical order release of admissions – As first? :-)</p>
<p>@TenfromLA thanks for the information. It seems as if it is starting. Sending my best wishes to all, students, Moms & Dads. Breathing & praying now, I know God has a plan for our girl, I trust that His plan is perfect. </p>
<p>Based on my son’s reaction to admissions at other colleges, I’m sure that I’m sweating this more than he is. Also, I’ll be more excited than he will be too. I was accepted to SLO a long, long time ago and went elsewhere, so this is kinda fun for me when it isn’t frustrating…</p>

<p>From what I saw last year, rejections didn’t start coming out until after March 1st. So some of us may not know anything until then. My daughter is hoping for good news in February!</p>

<p>From what I’ve heard in years past, rejections are released after acceptances, so hopefully everyone hears back sooner than later.</p>

<p>From reading last year’s posts, I can’t tell if CP only releases acceptances once a day, or multiple times. This is so painful!!</p>
