Accepted to Bioresource and Agricultural Engineering! I am very happy!!
CSU/UC W GPA: 3.77
SAT: 1260/1950

Will they only be releasing acceptances today, not rejections or wait lists?

Any word on communications? Stressing…

@bugsy12 acceptances throughout the month, into next month. rejections/waitlists probably 2nd week of march or so

@begordon what was your stats? And are you in state ?

Comp sci, bay area. Nothing yet.

@bugsy12, I just called admissions at Cal Poly again and was told that the rejection and waitlist student’s will find out down the road. She said the Data Management team is rolling out only admissions right now. But, it can take up to two weeks to get your acceptance. 51,000 applicant’s this year, with only 5,600 spots to fill.

GOT ACCEPTED for wine and viticulture I’m so happy cuz I thought I wouldn’t get in!!!

Any social science(History)majors get their decisions yet??

5,600/51,000? That’s like a 10% acceptance rate- Harvard’s is around 9. Now you’ve got me worried.

they accept around ~30% of those 51k. from that pile, ~30% actually accept the offer

@IsaacSF: 5,600 is the number of students expected to matriculate, NOT the number of students that are accepted. 5,600 only represents about 30% of the accepted students (as TSchaser noted above).

Ah right forgot they always overenroll. I hope these geniuses get into their ivys

Thanks @CollegiateDreams @TSchaser

hmm now im curious about harvard’s yield…granted it should be in the 80%-90% range but still hmm.

Does anyone know, are they doing it by major or by college? I would guess college because biomedical engineering program hasn’t come out while wine and viticulture has but I just want to make sure.

@Jnmaietta it appears so…College of Arch and College of Agri releasing atm. if you check the list of cal poly colleges, engineering may be up next. but its all done seperately so it comes down to when ur college feels like releasing em.
