****official cal poly slo class of 2018 decisions****

any civil engineering decisions? if so, stats please!

S accepted Business. (OOS from Oregon) Also accepted CU Boulder for Business and trying to decide. Any input would be helpful.

Arrrgghhhhh this is brutal!! I have been reading out-loud all the post from the OOS acceptances to our daughter, she is freaking out about now!!

Accepted to. Civil Engineering OOS

does anyone have any idea when decisions come out for applicants from california?? i always thought oos came after but i guess not… i am sooo anxious right now!

I really wish Cal Poly released all the decisions at once. I am so anxious since I have not received a decision from any of my colleges yet. I am an in-state BME major.

Congrats to the OOS students who have received their acceptances!

Accepted Biomedical Engineering OOS - Wisconsin!!! 4.0 uw

Looks like the OOS students are finding out today, so we are hopeful that in State will hear this sometime this weekend. I just wish they could release it all at the same time, just to avoid all this time anxious energy waiting.

I heard something about decisions being released in April? - might just be misinformed - (I was rejected ED- In State) So anxious to hear RD!

@traillab - I work a block away from CU Boulder, and know it from a local perspective and reputation. You might choose CU Boulder, but I would say your biggest benefits are the athletic training at elevation, mountain climbing and recreational activities, and nice weather in this area…you can probably get a better education elsewhere. Best of luck with your decisions. Get others’ input too!

@pooleye, what were your stats? i applied to CE and am wanting to know what i am up against ;)

I wonder why they would release OOS decisions first…

because they wanna know how much OOS dollars they can rack in before gettin to the states folk. tsall good though, justified by usually having a higher gpa/test score to get in

^yeah, seriously, i feel like instate should have priority

im guessing we hear back this weekend? would be super pissed if they waited till monday.

Cal state schools accepts out of state students first. Just doesn’t sound right… oh well! They better send out decisions soon!

Does anyone really think they’ll be updating decisions tonight or over the holiday weekend? It’s disappointing that they don’t release them all at once…

As an out of state parent I completely agree with all of you in state. Your tax dollars support the system and you should hear first. Hope this doesn’t create ill will for the OOS kids. I think I remember seeing that freshman enrollment last year was 90% in state.

@caligirl14 I think they are done for today, the acceptance posts here have stopped, so I think it may be the next “working” day, which is Tuesday 2/18, that is my guess. I hope I am wrong and we all hear this weekend.

Well, we’ll see if they push out more acceptances over the weekend or make us sit. Ugh.
