@Happy5Parent By average do you mean 1500?
Applied for business administration and still haven’t heard anything
@Hlabs11 I’ve only seen a handful of confirmed acceptances in the College of Business posted in the thread for in state applicants. I’d say about 5 Econ and 3 Business Administration. So judging by that, I hope there are more decisions to come.
My son was accepted to CompSci yesterday 2/24. Not sure what time the decision came out. His stats are quite high.
Accepted to Sociology today.
GPA: 3.14 (I think)
SAT: 1290/1600
ACT: 34
I don’t know how much it matters but i basically maxed out the supplemental extracurricular section as well.
Good luck to those still waiting. Don’t think I’m gonna intend but it’s nice to know I’m wanted right?
Do you mind sharing his stats with us?
@fishyhead4
Has anyone with a pending decision in CS been accepted yesterday or today?
Her SAT’s were just 1050 out of 1600
*1050 out of 1600/ 1630 out of 2400
She wasn’t even going to apply, but just did for the heck of it.
*1050 out of 1600/ 1630 out of 2400
.
I was accepted yesterday into the College of Business as a Business Administration major.
SAT: 2010
SAT (cr + math): 1370
Weighted CSU: 4.125
Unweighted CSU: 3.71
Decent amount of extra curriculars
My D got in for Mechanical Engineering…I can’t say when it was posted because the only way we found out was that she texted me from school saying a lot of her friends got emails yesterday. So I logged into her portal just now and saw that she was accepted! She has not gotten an email. Her stats are WGPA 4.6, UWGPA 4.0, SAT 2050
If anyone has stats for wine & vit please post! Or any colleges in ag.
still waiting!!
@leandraduke
I got accepted for nutrition in college of ag.
CSU GPA: 3.83
ACT: 33
Waiting on mechanical engineering. Does anyone know how many acceptances there have been so far?
Also can anyone chance me please?
3.8 gpa
Sat: 1390 (math: 770 reading: 620)
Act: 30 (math: 34 reading: 29)
Max extracurriculars
Work 6-10 unrelated
I’m also a female if that affects things.
I think you have a good chance based on your stats and the number of women in engineering
To all of the BME kids still waiting to hear, it will be okay. My son applied BME two years ago and didn’t make it into Cal Poly (but did make it into every other school). BME is a very HOT major right now, and is one of the top 3 most requested majors with the brightest and most qualified kids. Unfortunately, that translates to hundreds of talented kids being turned away. My son ended up in an amazing BME program at the University of Miami. It will be okay, no matter what Cal Poly decides about you.
Still thinking this is crazy. My D has 4.2 CSU GPA, ACT 33, and lots of ECs, but still has not heard for biomedical engineering. Looking at some of the stats of those who got in, I just have to wonder how this is possible.
