@aadvani I’m in the same boat. I applied Business Admin for ED and I was deferred. Currently, my portal reads the same as yours. I’m in state as well with a rather low CSU GPA of 3.76 and an ACT composite of 30. CP is my #1 school, so I’m hoping there are more decisions to come.
@ucladeb & @Lauratraff Cal Poly’s application stated that they do not ever consider second choice majors. Everything is impacted, so it is first choice only. Sorry.
@stephrass - thanks. no invites for Chancellors. She is very well-rounded, smart, etc, but has little leadership - she was in Girl Scouts, and is a tutor and teachers aide for our temple as paid jobs, but no club leadership positions. Who knows…whatevah. I am actually the one who told her about the UCLA Alumni Scholarship as I have been a volunteer for many years in revewing the applications and interviewing students! Would never get into UCLA myself now. She would be third generation UCLA - including my mom and dad, my husband, his father - law school…I bleed blue and gold but it does not mean much to a public school…sorry…I know you are rooting for the “other” school
Still waiting on Rec Admin for my D. So far I think there are only 4 of us on this board? I saw two got accepted me and another still waiting. Any others lurking that can post their status?
Also all accepted students don’t forget Cal Poly Open House is April 16-18 and includes an admitted students day. I’m sure the school will let you know, but if you are emotionally committed to Cal Poly get it on your calendar now, hotels in the area fill up 6 months to a year in advance so you may still be able to find something. I’m an alumni, so I’m in the now on this one, trust me. You don’t want to get stuck with a hotel way down in Arroyo Grande. Don’t miss the rodeo either, it’s a blast!

@ucladeb Well maybe you’ll get to read my D’s UCLA scholarship app or interview her! She’s submitting tomorrow:)
@ucladeb oh and I am a USC alum as is my whole family so it looks like we’re rivals!
@stephrass - maybe, but it is all very anonymous! They redact the name, the school, and any other identifying information from the application so that we can be as unbiased as possible. They are expecting about 4000 applications this year for the scholarship - record number.
