@Erikacharm! Congrats! How were you able to pick “emphasis in Genetics” for your major? I also applied for Bio major. Looks like I have been accepted as well, although I got no email confirmation yet.
I wonder if they’ll be releasing all of the majors tonight or if they’ll be stopping at some point and putting the rest off for tomorrow?
@gonewiththeair - I applied for Bio major and, knowing the low acceptance stats for Bio, didn’t think I had a good chance to get in. GPA 3.95 (weighted) ACT 34

Hmm, or maybe they are updating the portal in the order of the Stage 4: Yield page. OOS, College of Science and Mathematics, College of Architecture and Environmental Design, and so on and so forth.

looks like i’ll have a long time to wait then- i applied to the business school, which appears to be last on the yield page.
@gonewiththeair i applied for business ed and got deffered to rd and switched to coms. Cp gpa is 3.9 and sat r + m is 1360
@gonewiththeair The College of Engineering is after Orfalea College of Business so I have a “long” time to wait. Quotations around “long” since I thought that the decisions for instate applicants wouldn’t be released until two weeks from now. (As in, I thought I had enough time to prepare myself for the worst. Looks like I don’t. :-O)
I got accepted but the classes I put on the transcript for senior year changed because I’m doing dual enrollment. Will my admission be rescinded because freshman can’t change senior classes? I just took out Calc 5 so I’m doing 6 years of math instead of 7 and all the rest is the same except for more social science classes. Would it be bad to commit before I make the change?

if this goes in the order everyones talking about, around when should an instate psychology major hear? assuming they starting releasing decisions today?
For peeps who have been accepted- have you received any email confirmation? If not - what do you see under your admission status on CalPoly Student Center?
