@allbid I don’t have a button either, but my classmate does; however, I didn’t apply for financial aid, and don’t think I have sent in documents yet. (ooOOps)
Ok that makes sense I didn’t apply for FA either.
Just got the e-mail. Decisions will officially be posted on Saturday.
Same, the title was so ominous I thought they’d released decisions early or something…nearly gave me a heart attack
@naturevalley @MandomeLife my D has had “financial aid notification” on her portal for at least a month, probably more. We rarely call an admission office for our kids, but I called as we had a question on a tax form submission, and I mentioned that the “financial aid notification” logo and the lady said that meant absolutely nothing.
Got an email saying 37,420 applicants this year. Significantly more than the roughly 20,000 last year
@MandomeLife Oh really? Did they accept a lot for Design? How do you know?
…Should’ve applied early…
@neverbefore I don’t know how many got accepted during ED, but I’m sure they accepted a good handful. Either way, that lowers our chances
this might be a ridiculously DUMB question but applying for financial aid isn’t a requirement for an applicant right?
@terr24lr, no. Definitely not.
@naturevalley, @MandomeLife, and @lynjobes my son has had a Financial Aid Notification button for months. It simply goes to a page that says “financial aid processing not complete…”
twitter feed had this picture http://ow.ly/i/hQDNq says taken 8 hours ago…so they’re in the mail.
@neverbefore they estimate that 1/4 of the class comes from ED. so like 11-12
Just checked my USPS it says no delivery coming up… so I guess I’m gonna get a rejection LOL
@labyrinth1997 Wait how do you check USPS? I know how to check UPS…
@labyrinth1997 Are rejection letters not sent in the mail?
USPS priority mail, I believe. I don’t think there is a way to check if a package has been sent to you. There is no tracking for priority mail.
Posted this in the RD thread by accident but I’ll repost here: Update via twitter; 2016 cross-campus acceptance rate is 21.7%
That’s a bit lower than last year
Just checked my My USPS account, and it didn’t say anything was coming. I don’t think it tracks letters though, so my hope is still alive (to an extent)
