Rejected. Kind of confused about why - all my numbers were a lot higher than any of the averages. (35 ACT, 2280 SAT, 3.99 GPA, all 5s on the four APs I took.) Portfolio was good, recs were good, great ECs, good essays.
There were some fishy things in my app though. Did anyone get a “New Inquiry Record” in their documents list? And my SAT scores never got there, etc. (ACTs did get there though, fulfilling the testing requirement.) Currently accrediting it to bad luck and applying intl and all that - was hoping someone could give me some advice so I could do better in the Regular wave for other schools.

@QuantumFlux I applied to the school of design in CFA. Highly competitive, but I had a pretty good portfolio and I’ve been Head Designer for the school newspaper for years. Plus I do lots of design work around the school, including some jobs for the school administration. Guess that didn’t help me much.
