**Official Carnegie Mellon University Class of 2013 RD Decisions Thread**

geckolord, it has nothing to do with length. haha.

on my essay, I wrote about the new england patriots and the new york giants and i got an 11. That itself is surprising, but the fact that it was barely over a page is astounding.

The Writing section should be the only one that counts in my opinion! No, my CMU page did not mention about the decision or mailing anything.

Yeah, since the writing section actually proves intellect.

My friend called the office and the person said MOST of the applicants will be getting a letter tomorrow. (Tuesday)

wait so everyone here received something in the mail first? Or was notified online?

These people are geographically closer to Pittsburgh, meaning mail gets there faster. If they sent the letter for you last Friday, they will update your "Where Am I In the Process" page Tuesday.

Whether you get a letter or not first depends on the time for mail to get to you from Pittsburgh.

mail first, still nothing different online

Goodness - why not just note here if you were accepted ED or RD?

Decision:Accepted (MCS, TSB)
