<p>G3N: did you get the letter in the mail yet telling you to notify the news of your 36? It was great; I just got home from visiting Dartmouth and I have a letter sitting there from the CEO of ACT, saying congratulations for being the only student in Florida to gain a 36. Then there was an attached sheet specially printed to give to the media. i’m sure the news has better items on their agenda, but it was a bit of a confidence booster after falling in love with dartmouth (and its 13% admission rate)…</p>

<p>I was shocked when I got my score back, lol. I had perfect across the board…even on the writing O_O…on the first try. It was a pretty nice confidence booster, lol.</p>

<p>So it’s settled; 30 is the minimum attainable score on the ACT.</p>
<p>^^^then that means anyone with a 32 or less “failed” the ACT :p</p>
<p>Yea, it’s kind of wierd how nobody has posted a score below 30…</p>
<p>Maybe they are embarrassed about their score, althouth they shouldn’t be. A 29 is still in the top 5% of all test takers.</p>
<p>Obviously once the trend of constant 30+ scores was established (in part due to the fact that the thread starter had such a score), those with lower scores became too embarrassed to post. It’s probably also safe to say that the CC community represents the upper tier of test-takers, simply because only those who are serious about the test would sign up and post here.</p>
<p>That said, I’m hoping for a 30 on the april test. I would have expected more, but that science section screwed me up big time.</p>
