Official (?) Chem june SATII threat

two days away...its crunch time.

anyone else nervous? scared? studying to the brink of insanity? haha...

anyways, i've got a few questions. i've been using princeton review, and finished reading the book.....then i read the Research & Education Assoc. book, and they had tons of more stuff. so basically, are the following (likely to be) on the test?

-Osmotic Pressure
-Normality
-Hydroprotic Acids
-anion/cation hydrolysis
-most likely more stuff to come

osmotic pressure, no
the rest are slight maybes

btw, what is normality?
i'm in ap chem and i don't even know what that is

We didn't do normality in AP Chem. Atleast I don't think it was in the subset. Osmotic and Normality is not on the test. Atleast it wasn't on May. And yes study acids/bases a lot. There is a bunch of acid-base equi questions and pH questions.

magic, its the amount of h+ ions per liter. So 1 M of HCL would be 1 normality, while 1 M of H2SO4 would be 2 N, because there are 2 H+ ions per liter. Normality is always an integer multiple of molarity.

Normality is the number of equivalence times molarity. 1 mol of HCL represents one equivalence, and 1 mol H2SO4 represents 2 equivalents. The normality of 2 moles of H2SO4 in one liters of solution is 4 molarity.

oh, that's simple

threat?! :P
Do we have to know hybridization? How about quantum numbers? Both topics are not covered by PR.

if it's not covered on PR, it's probably not on the exam. PR is pretty certified

Know simple molecular structure. Like bent, tetrehedral, etc. Quantum numbers.. well they probably won't ask you what the azimuthal number is or anything but know the basic concept. These questions are most likely to appear at the begginning.

"if it's not covered on PR, it's probably not on the exam. PR is pretty certified"
um, NO. Dont rely on any one prep book.

omg...evilolive....im using the same books. Plus, i got barrons. it really sucks how they all have different topics. I am so scared about the test. Are REA's practice tests more accurate?

""if it's not covered on PR, it's probably not on the exam. PR is pretty certified"
um, NO. Dont rely on any one prep book."

800 last October from studying entirely from PR (took the class two years before, everything was virtually forgotten)

ok, now that the test is done.........

how many t t ce's did everybody get?

4 to 5. How about you guys? It seemed pretty easy.

same for tt ce
but wow, I didnt have time and skipped so many.
What is that question about if CX4, then what compound can x be in?
I put HX but I am kind of weird. Is it X3O - but they didn't have the + sign for the ion.

the X is probably Cl or F

Yea so I put HX too
