<p>I am a transfer student applying for admission to Claremont McKenna for the fall 2013 semester. I figured I would start a thread so students applying for transfer to Claremont McKenna can communicate with one another. Anybody out their applying for transfer to CMC???</p>
<p>Im applying, though its definitely a long for me. Currently a sophomore at Connecticut College.</p>
<p>I do like Conn. It can be boring at times considering the location but in general its not too bad. For me its more that I have the desire to live out West now that my family is all moved out there. My stats are alright, GPA lower than I would like. </p>

<p>Thanks! I’m a math tutor for the school, I founded and “run” a philosophy club, and I’m the opinion editor for the school newspaper. I also “tutor” people that I know if they need help, but I was kind of hesitant about putting that on because I don’t know if it really counts…</p>
<p>Hi guys. I’m also a transfer applicant - international too. I applied as a junior transfer with a 4.0 GPA from a CC. I went to the admissions office today and they said they received 323 transfer applications with 4 from Ivy leagues and generally accept about 40 students. Good luck everyone!</p>

<p>Sounds legit. What do you mean you don’t know if that counts. I think you should put everything on there - the only I omitted from my application was some school organizations I am in and also omitted the general “volunteer” things I have been doing for the past 7 years because its just so random. I did put down the volunteer activities I did as part of a volunteer group.</p>

<p>I hear back May 15th–I think that’s most colleges’ deadlines. All the colleges I’m applying to have admissions notifications mid-May.</p>
