Reflection:

Strengths: My writing was very strong because I just wrote about what I am genuinely interested in. I have done a lot of extracurriculars but a lot of them are very related. Also, all my extracurriculars are year long activities rather than seasonal.

Weaknesses: My GPA isn’t the greatest even though it puts me at the top 15 percent of my class. I didn’t submit test scores so that could be considered a hinderance to my acceptance. I was originally in the full IB program but certain courses not being offered made it hard for me to stay in the program (IB Physics HL, IB Philosophy HL, IB Chemistry HL, and AP Music Theory (at the time)).

Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Extracurriculars, Rigor of classes, Recs
Where else were you accepted/deferred/rejected: I am still waiting on responses.

The most unique thing in your application: Either the personal essay or the short essay (I talked about why feminism is important to me).

The most unique thing in your application:

oh gpa above is 3.8 weighted

No one is listing scholarships - its helpful to know if Clark offered merit to any of you.

I got the Jonas Clark Scholarship for $40,000

I got the Traina scholarship for 80,000 (20,000 per year)

Traina Scholarship – $80,000 as well. 4.34 W GPA, 3.9 UW, 2020 SAT, violin 13 yrs with freelance performances, many clubs including 5 honor societies-- president of 2, participant in many school functions with about 250 recorded service hours, varsity tennis, cross country, community orchestras etc.

I applied RD to Clark, my application materials have been complete for close to two weeks, to be exact all my application materials were complete on the 7th of January 2016. I received an email today, on a Saturday(16th on January) saying that my application has been reviewed and my decision has been posted on my portal. I logged in to my portal and didn’t see anything. I want to ask if it is possible for the decision of RD to be released so early cause on the portal itself it is noted that RD applicants will receive decisions mid march?. And is it only me that received this email?

i received the achievement scholarship too… congratulations to everyone and wish you all the best of luck!

I also got accepted to Clark and I received Traina scholarship.

Does anyone here apply for LEEP thingy?

Received Acceptance and Traina scholarship today. ($80,000)

SAT: 2000

I don’t know my GPA because my high school is in Ontario and every school converts differently.

Involved in church, many volunteering opportunities. Now considering attending.
