**Official Class of 2008 Priority Submittee Decisions**

I noticed a lot of Priority Date kids got in recently, so I thought we would compile this organized list for next year's Huskey hopefuls!

Let's try to eliminate all discussion posts within this thread and keep all posts strictly decisions of those who submitted before/on UW's Priority date of 12/1/07. Just copy/paste the following list and take out all the spaces between the brackets and enter your stats.

The reason I only want decisions posted within this thread is for the future classes who want to see who was accepted/rejected, and it starts to look cluttered if every other post is "Omg, when will I hear?" So if you have a personal question, make a separate thread and you will get an answer!

Also, I know a lot of you have already posted stats, and it's fine if you don't want to post again. If you choose not to post, please respect this thread and try to keep it clean of non-stat posts. Thanks!

General Comments: UW's my first choice but it's so expensive. I probably won't end up going. :'[

Serpentine, you had absolutely NO extracurriculars?! How on earth did you fill out the activity log?

So how exactly does priority decision work? I didn't apply priority, hell, I applied 10 minutes before the regular decision deadline, and for some reason, I got in February 28th.
No? Why not? You're hispanic, right? You'll love it here, I'm Hispanic too. It's NOT expensive, trust me. The city of Seattle is BEAUTIFUL. Beyond words...I'll tell you. Give it a shot. :)

General Comments: UW's my first choice but it's so expensive. I probably won't end up going. :'[
I'm with her, I didn't fill in the EC log but my SAT score was horrendous. I'm still a little surprised I got in...thank you affirmative action..

Sherwelthlangley, I forgot to mention I did have 3 months of work experience. (It's six months now). The rest I just left blank.

And Incognito, priority applicants applied before December 1st in hopes of getting scholarships. Also, the honors application was due December 1st. And I would love to go to UW, but its $34k a year OOS. :[

Does anyone know if scholarship recipients will be notified in a separate letter, or if the acceptance letter was it as far as they go?

And I would love to go to UW, but its $34k a year OOS. :[
Lol, it shouldn't derail your spirit. Student loans, stafford loans...come on.

Alternatively, you can sell a kidney.

Please read Incognito's other post in the acceptance thread and understand while I say that Seattle is the home of Nirvana and in that spirit----

"STAY AWAY"

The UW made a huge mistake when they accepted you and please everyone--read the other thread.

Wow, I am impressed by the people with no ECs whatsoever. What do you do with all your time?

Worked for a living.

Unlike you daddy's boys and girls, I had to work my way through high school.

I'm planning on going to medical school so I don't know about loans for undergrad...

& as far as my personal lack of ECs go, I'm the kind of person that is done with school once the bell rings. :]

There are tons of financial aid available, like you, I also plan to go to medical school. Preferably UW Medical ;)

Scholarships, anyone?

Unlike you daddy's boys and girls, I had to work my way through high school.

Incognito, can you say "sweeping generalization?" Many of us in this forum have worked---so give up the notion that you are somehow superior. I bet your co-workers find you annoying, at best.
