thanks miragemage. i got 5 rejections this week so i dont have my hopes up but it's nice to hear words of encouragement once in a while :)

sarahahah that is crazy. i feel you though, i had 2200 sat and similar type other stats and was rejected from Notre Dame back in December. I'm crossing my fingers for Boston College. I have a 3.75 W gpa, which isn't very good either. If you didn't get in, I don't think I have any hope.

OH another thing... did you get your rejection letter a day after people in your area got acceptance/wait list letters? my friend got accepted today and i got nothing in the mail. his was postmarked march 28th.

Fly - Don't worry - They should all be postmarked March 28th. (anyone please post if your letter is postmarked other than the 28th), as the admissions volunteers said they put all 28,500 letters in two mail trucks on Wednesday, March 28th. I have a feeling the letters are coming earlier/later due to distance & post offices. In the past, I believe they were mailed over a week's time, which is tough!

Did accepted students all get their financiad aid packages?

Not sure if Im going to attend

I was waitlisted at nyu stern(top choice if accepted)
I was accepted also at Wagner(12,000Scholarship), Pace(13,500), St. Johns(17,000), Fordham (Bronx Campus)(10,000), BU
I was rejected at Penn Wharton ED and RD Georgetown after being deferred EA

sarahahah I can't believe you weren't accepted. Clearly you are extremely gifted in the humanities with perfect scores on writing, reading and lit.

I was accepted with:
SAT:2120
Critical Reading:800
Math:670
Writing:650

SAT II:
Lit:780
Chem:770
Spanish:720

spanish club

Recommendations:
Extremely good, my English teacher was a huge fan of mine.

Hook:International applicant and disadvantaged in socio-economic status.

I got waitlisted and I am going to accept it. But it is weird that I got my decision in the mail and my twin brother didn't. Shouldn't we have gotten it at the same time?

3 of my friends recieved letters from bc on saturday. i still have nothing in today's mail and we live in the same city. i called the admissions office to see if they could see if mine has been mailed and the lady said that she did not have access to the information, but that not ALL of the letters have been mailed.

how many other people have not gotten letters even though other people in their area have??

in the mean time, Wake Forest is looking better and better because they actually cared enough to let me know whether or not i got in...

How could the not mail ALL of the letters? What letters haven't been mailed yet rejections? Waitlisted? Accepted? Still waiting to hear in Missouri!

One way to find out which I think is pretty accurate is to log on to Agoura:

agora.bc.edu/login/menu

If you have a link to "Enrollment Confirmation and Room Guarantee Fees" you are admitted. I haven't heard of anyone having this link who was rejected or waitlisted.

Decision: Accepted CAS Honors Program

[ *]Subjective:
[ *] Essays: Well-written, if a bit boring (About love of books)
[ *] Teacher Recs: Only saw supplement, which was great
