[] Job/Work Experience: None yet
[] Essays (subject and responses): Race in the context of sociology. I argued, academically, that a lot of our stereotypes about ethnic performance in academics is actually more related to socioeconomic status, self-selection in immigration(those whose parents come on student visas versus political refugees, etc.), and the effect that stereotypes themselves have on individual performance.

[li] Why you think you were accepted/deferred/denied: I wish I knew! My essay?[/li][/ul]Other Factors:
General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: In general in life, I've found that what I thought was my first choice really wasn't. I'm often incorrect at first. This happened for middle school and high school, and now college. Though Brown wasn't my first choice at first, it became my first choice when I reserached it more. I was deferred elsewhere, which I'm glad about because now I can attend Brown. It's all about fit---it fits me well. So to any of you who were rejected, you're destined for something better elsewhere. Trust me.
