I'm still deciding where I'll go- I'm leaning toward UConn, but BU is definitely an option. Congratulations to everyone else accepted!

Subjective
[ul]
[]Essays: Pretty good. I don't like anything I write, but they got me a lot of praise from my advisors.
[]Teacher Recommendations: Excellent.
[]Counselor Recommendation: Excellent.
[]Hook: I'm not really sure, but two things I emphasized in my app were creating and maintaining my own company online since 8th grade, and 3 summers of internships on Wall Street at rather well-known investment firms. Tenacity was the theme of my essay, and I talked about how I used the work I did online to help pay for the last two years of my tuition.
[li]ECs: Senior Class VP, 4 years of varsity rowing, 13 year of (classical) piano, very musically active, Classical All State on voice[/li][/ul]

Location/Person
[ul]
[]State/Country: NH
[]School Type: Private school (52 people in graduating class)
[]Ethnicity: Caucasian
[]Gender: Male
[/ul]

Other Factors
I didn't receive any merit aid and didn't get very much in federal aid either.

I'm actually a little disappointed in the decision (and I feel like a total jerk for saying that). My numbers are absolutely nothing astounding, but in applying to SMG I felt like I had a pretty good chance of getting in. There were no missing components to my application and I've been accepted to other schools that are known as having a more competitive admissions process than BU's. Does anybody know if there's anything that can be done to appeal my decision? BU was one of my top choices but not getting into the business program makes the offer a little less enticing. :(
