i complain and you had brain surgery? that blows my mind justbumming. i hope you get good news form nd. it's too bad that it's such a long wait but what's another week at this stage? congrats to you

Thanks 5757! Congrats on your acceptance too!! I am very hopeful since my dad went to ND for grad school and they attempt to admit 50% of legacies who applied, and also said they wish that over a quarter of the incoming class will be the sons/daughters of ND graduates.

Hopefully that craniotomy could be a hook. I skipped first grade, and was diagnosed with the aneurysm my junior year of high school. I had to stop going to school to have the surgery and recover. I could have finished the year with some summer tutoring and gone on to senior year to graduate with my friends, but I made the hard decision to repeat my junior year at a private school in order to prepare for college and also, be with my age group again. Hopefully they realize how hard this decision was to make, since a fifth year of high school was the last thing I wanted at the time. The only issue is, I haven't even had a chance to visit ND and this demonstrates little interest and I'm afraid they don't realize how bad I want to go to Notre Dame.

I really love all of the 10 schools I applied to and I thought the hard part would be getting in, but it's really making the decision. Lehigh was without a doubt one of my favorite campuses, and I know I will be missing out if I turn it down.

Thanks for the nice post and good luck to you in making your decision!

I was accepted. Got my letter yesterday!
I'm surprised to see so many people with higher scores than me get rejected/waitlisted. Good luck to everyone else!
