[li] General Comments: Well, it's funny. I am very unlikely to go here, having already been accepted to Williams, which is higher on my list. That is what I told myself up to about an hour and a half ago. At that time, however, I signed into something called 'The D' - a web portal that, as far as I can tell, was designed explicitly to cause a heart attack. Between its ominous countdown, its absurd loading times, and its constant disconnections, my mindest gradually devolved from that of sanguine apathy to that of mortal terror. What if this university doesn't accept me?! No! NO! I couldn't be a Blue Devil if I wanted to... and... now that I think about it... I couldn't imagine wanting anything more! Long story short, at the moment I am oddly intrigued by Duke University. I also hate those pricks. [/li][/ul]

FinAid: Applied, haven't checked the website yet to see if there's any info.

All in all: This is my first college acceptance (was deferred EA from Stanford; waitlisted at WashU) and so I'm so relieved! Thanks to all those who've posted on CC over the years and helped us applicants out, and good luck to all those who are waiting!

Rejected, not surprised really.

ehhh, I think my page changed or I am stupid. Does anyone's login home say this? I can't find the application status page.

Congratulations, XXXXX!

We share your happiness, and we welcome you to Duke. Now the real fun begins: it's time to create your public profile, look at other students' profiles, post to our message boards, and meet students who are also headed to Duke.
