<p>That actually is happening to me now- Carnegie Mellon was my first choice, but i got waitlisted. I never really gave Hopkins a fair look since i was so psyched about CMU; but now im starting to get excited about it!</p>

<p>Believe me, there are a lot of accepted people with crazy scores. I think it’s good that people with such high stats who didn’t get in because it shows that schools look beyond the numbers.</p>

<p>1) People who didn’t accepted tend not to post, while people who did tend to.</p>

<p>2) People with high scores who felt snubbed might post, because they felt they were better than other applicants.</p>

<p>3) Not everyone who applies to JHU is on CC. In fact, CC is actually a rather small sampling of people who do apply to college.</p>
